It would be fair to admit that dresses are much more of a reason to get out of bed than a pair of jeans or trousers. In high contrast with my Dutch fellows who are keen on jeans. In Amsterdam they even organize the Denim Days as we speak (17-23 April this year). With the highest concentration of denim brands, Amsterdam has an indigo heart. And so do the Dutch people who own at least 6 pairs of jeans they wear 4-5 days a week. But I am more of a dress girl trying to blend in. With this flower print wrap dress, it is all about legs. Quite a challenge and a delight at the same time. Beat that, jeans lovers! Checking the wind forecast is most certainly required before wearing a wrap dress in the Lowlands. These pictures were taken during my Easter vacation in Bucharest. Luckily there the winds are less furious. Spring has conquered the city and the weather was perfect to get rid of the stockings. The flower print wrap dress looks great with silver sandals as it works perfectly well with sneakers. I would have never worn this heel before. It was high heels or flats or nothing for me. Apparently I liked extremes. Once you get wiser (not older) you learn to meet in the middle. And the mid block heel with silver snake embossed finish sandalette are my ‘middle’.
The dress: &other stories, Sandals: &otherstories, but for a bolder combo I would have chosen this metallic pair, Leather Jacket (old but I covet this khaki one which in the shop looks much greener than on the website)
