By now, you should be familiar with this daisy embroidered dress. I have been advertising it here since the beginning of summer. But somehow it spent the hottest days in the closet waiting for its moment of fame. It was the combination of colors that drew my attention. I am always looking for different colors and prints combos. It needs to be something surprising about the items to catch my eye. In this case, it was the combination of pink with yellow. I would have never matched these two colors in the past. Even when I discussed skin undertone, it was obvious that there is a clear cut between who should wear yellow and who pink. Then why match them?
Simply because fashion is this enthralling field where everyone can create his or her own interpretation of an outfit. This summer was all about fuchsia and red combo. Other two colors I would have never matched. But there are no rules anymore in terms of colors mixing. So why not yellow with millennial pink? Honestly, I had my doubts. But then of all the shopping advertising spaces in the world, these tassel earrings had to appear into mine. They immediately brushed aside all my previous doubts. I decided right then that they are the best tassel earrings designed in 2017. And that yellow works great with millennial pink. And I was lucky enough to get them on sale.
In the end, the bow waist detail of the dress is removable. So you can let your shopping impulsiveness kick in even if you are not a fun of mixing bold colors. I am, so I’ll keep the waist, it’s mine and it’s yellow. A color I am not wearing anymore because of my cold undertone research. Really! The daisy dress is also on sale now. Even if you do not have an event for it (I did not have either), planning in advance is of essence. And then there are so many small castles or lawyers’ former country houses (yeah, back in the 1783 this was the country house of a lawyer) I need not to worry about the occasion. So hurry up with that click on the purchase button.
With this post I declare the summer season closed. Let’s layer for the fall. But still keep it colorful!
Dress: Asos, Earrings: Mignonne Gavigan, Clutch: Ted Baker (sold out, but I also like this one and this one); Shoes: Guess (old, but similar here, but I think these one and these one are a better match)
